Hey Bill,

         Just wanted to share some photos of some of the fish Jessica caught on our trip to Lake Fork last week using the Liquid Lure Triple XXX formula. I just started teaching her to fish this year after getting my boat in April, so she has only been out about 4 or 5 times prior to our trip to Fork. We primarily fish with plastics, Texas rig or Carolina rig and I must say she is catching on quick. She’s still learning to tell the difference between a hit and her worm moving over log or through grass but is getting better very quickly. She is very curious about all the different lures in my tackle box and constantly ask about each one and how and where they should be used. While fishing fork she came across the bottles of liquid lure and questioned what is was for and why she hadn’t seen me using it. I explained I’m a little reluctant to try something new and prefer to stick with what has worked best for me in the past. She asked if she could try it on her worm and started using it the rest of our trip. It was a little slow on Fork with the temperature near a 100 and the fishing pressure was heavy with a lot of the Skeeter guys pre-fishing the lake for the upcoming tournament this weekend. Although we didn’t catch big numbers of fish we did catch some decent fish and Jessica caught 2 fish to every 1 fish I caught using the Liquid Lure Triple XXX formula. At first I wasn’t convinced it was the attractant, but after a couple of days I’m a believer. I am heading to Ray Roberts today and will be using it to see if I can get the same results. I am so proud of Jessica and the joy of just seeing the excitement on her face after catching a fish is priceless. I just wanted to thank you for helping create some of that excitement for her and hopefully making her a angler for life. It sure looks like she’s hooked, she asks about the next trip before we even get back to the ramp. I think I will always have a fishing partner and she certainly seems to appreciate the outdoors and nature. It is true what they say about taking a kid fishing can be an experience of a lifetime. I will send you an e-mail next time we are heading to fork, maybe you can give me some tips on the current conditions and fishing patterns.
